  • The Woodlands, TX – January 17, 2012

Motorsports Development Group (MDG) have successfully completed their first test with driver Alec Udell in preparation for the 2012 World Challenge race season which is scheduled to begin March 23, 2012 in St. Petersburg, FL. Udell of The Woodlands, TX ran his fasted lap time of 1:37.9 in the No. 16 Boss 302R Ford Mustang at the MSR Houston faster than any World Challenge GTS Car has ever gone there.

Team Principal, Stuart Robinson said, “It was nice to get the new car on track and shake it down.  I was impressed with my guys to take a new out for the first time and have no issues.  Alec was awesome in the car turning consistent lap times and turning over a half a second quicker than any other WC GTS car has ever gone here and giving great feedback so we can make the car even better. Thrilled with our first test!”

Alec Udell said, “The car ran great! After making some minor changes we picked up three tenths in the second session. We are going to take it back to the shop and make a few more adjustments and plan to run another test in a couple of weeks. I want to say a big thank you to Stuart Robinson all the team members of Motorsports Development Group for making this happen.”

Motorsports Development Group would like to thank MSR Houston, KART NATION, and FORD for there support!
