logoMotorsports Development is pleased to announce 18 year old Alec Udell has rejoined the standout Ford Mustang outfit for a second season of Pirelli World Challenge action in 2014. The young gun will be
Motorsports Developments Lead Driver in its first season as a multi-car team in GTS and its debut in Bspec.

Alec is 18 years old this year entering his 4th year as a Pirelli World Challenge driver. In 2011 he entered the PWC for a few select races at age 15, then the youngest driver in the history of the series. He is currently a senior at The John Cooper School where he maintains honor roll status despite a challenging schedule of varsity sports, theatrical acting commitments and racing. Alec will graduate high school in 2014.

Given the experiences learned in his 3 year campaign, combined with the resources with Motorsports Development, both Udell and Motorsports Development Group are excited about what lies ahead in the 2014 season.

"I'm very happy to be back with Motorsports Development and Stuart Robinson for the 2014 season," stated Udell. "I think we can build on the good things we did this past year, and hopefully have some better luck and more competitive platform. We are really happy with the car preparation, we are expecting the BOSS302 to be extremely competitive as it has been in prior years. We especially thank Ford for the great car that they have built which enables us to be serious competitors on the track."

"It is great to have Alec back for a second season," added Motorsports Development Group owner Stuart Robinson. "He brings such a high level of dedication and talent to the team. The team is very excited about this coming season and making a run for the Championship and Alec bring that opportunity to the team."

Preparations for the 2014 race season are already underway at Motorsports Development Group' base of operations in Texas. As part of its off-season testing program, the team is slated to announce Udell's teammate in GTS and in new TCB Bspec Program for 2014. The 2014 Pirelli World Challenge season gets underway on March 29-30, with Rounds One and Two on the streets of St. Petersburg, Fla., in conjunction with the IndyCar Series season-opener.
